La Casita

La Casita is a charming studio cottage. 40 sq. mts. Set in the peaceful, picturesque green valley of Sa Figuera yet just minutes away from the sandy beaches and many restaurants, cafes and shopping facilities of Port of Soller. The cottage is part of a larger estate, it was the original guest house for the Estate and is the cottage closest to the main house yet is separate and private, surrounded by trees, garden and stone terraces. It features old wooden beams, thick stone walls and is very comfortable and cosy. This is an ideal base for walking or climbing excursions, wonderful walks through the nearby mountain scenery are easily accessible. Many of the best climbing sites are nearby, as are mountain walks and treks through the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains. The cottage is completely separate, private, with a parking area below. Port of Soller, just 1km or 15 minute walk offers safe,sandy beaches, swimming and water sports. The beach road is now closed to vehicles, therefore walking or dining in the many outdoor cafes and restaurants by the seaside is enjoyable. Boat excursions are available. A charming streetcar plies between the Port and the town of Soller. Although a car is useful it is not necessary. There is no sound of traffic so sitting on your outdoor patio, listening to birds, crickets and distant sound of the sea, the cottage provides the ideal romantic retreat yet it is just one km along a charming country road to all the facilities of the Port of Soller.
